A productive week?

Last week, I managed to get two actual posts up on here. This week, I actually wrote a review for Darksiders III on my professional site. Lump that in with starting to tackle some deep, personal issues in therapy and it starts to sound like I’m actually getting some stuff done.

Am I having fun, or just being obsessive?

Have you ever found yourself in a situation where you’re not quite sure if you keep working on something because you like it or because you feel compelled? That’s me and my recent return to Neverwinter on the PC. I spent a year away and now I find myself logging in a couple times a day to knock out a daily grind quest for one of the campaigns or check in on my crafting tasks. And I think I’m enjoying myself, but am I really?

Taking a break.

You know, I come by here every so often and think about how I should use this as a more personal writing platform. And then I remember that I haven’t written an actual article for Dorkadia in just about as long. Streaming and the podcast take up a huge chunk of my time and I don’t feel like I have the mental fortitude or time to sit and write up a 600-word review of every single thing I’ve played. And frankly, I don’t really want to. But sitting here and writing about my personal side is a sort of break from trying to grow my Mixer audience or eke out one new listener for the podcast.
